We procure the best vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) platforms available domestically and internationally. When we can’t find the vehicle we require, we have the capabilities to develop our own drone platforms in conjunction with partners.
UAV traffic management
We deploy one of the world’s most advanced unmanned air traffic management (UTM) systems. Continually updated and enhanced, our UTM ensures our UAVs operate safety in civilian airspace both day and night, and in all types of weather conditions.
Ground handling
We implement state-of-the-art ground handling hardware and software systems that ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded safely, quickly and efficiently.
Logistics management
Our end-to-end logistics management software provides customers with a holistic view of their operations, including scheduling, real-time tracking, delivery notification, billing and data management.
Safety and privacy
All of our UAVs, our flight protocols and our maintenance operations comply with local and international civilian airspace standards, including those of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, the US Federal Aviation Authority and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency.
While relying on black and white visual images for navigation, the UAVs do not capture, record or transmit images of the terrain they overfly, ensuring privacy for homes and businesses beneath their flight paths.

Last mile
E-commerce solutions for delivery of products with weights of 3-5kg to consumers, critical delivery of essential medicines to hospitals and clinics, or urgent delivery of parts or replacements to factories.
Middle mile
E-commerce, courier, freight forwarders or others looking to efficiently move a pallet of goods from one city to another or across town. Industrial customers, including oil & gas, who require delivery of heavier spare parts or equipment. These shipments can include cargo weighing up to 250 kg.

During Dubai Airshow 2023, LODD sponsored the FlyForward competition. Open to start-ups participating in the Airshow’s Vista exhibition, the competition invited last-mile drone delivery entrepreneurs to submit their most innovative solutions designed to revolutionize drone delivery by making it faster, cheaper and more efficient.
The competition assessed submissions based on a series of criteria including: innovation in drone platform design, autonomous navigation capabilities, propulsion and power technologies, unloading systems and mechanisms, smart infrastructure, AI solutions, and security and safety.
Winners received cash prizes of as much as USD 5,000, as well as potential partnership and investment opportunities, funding, mentorship, access to ground-breaking solutions, and global recognition.
